WELCOME
The game of golf in Bangladesh has come a long way since it began its journey in Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka. Golfing in Rangpur also was not far behind in early 90s. Golfing in Rangpur started with only three holes with the initiative of the then General Officer Commanding (GOC), 66 infantry Division. We gratefully acknowledge his contributions for laying the Foundation of golf in greater Rangpur Area. In the year 2006 Rangpur Learners' Golf Club (RLGC) got its real momentum and began having major organization reform and tournament-oriented activities. In 2006, series of tournaments were arranged for the first time at RLGC. In early 2007 another major change occurred, a new ground for RLGC and raise the status of the club from learners to a complete golf club. On 18 March 2007, the first Executive Committee Meeting was held and the system is still continuing on yearly basis. In the second Executive Committee Meeting it was decided to rename RLGC to Rangpur Golf Club (RGC). In 2017, it was again renamed as Rangpur Golf and Country Club (RGCC). Since then a good number of military and non military persons including foreigners enjoy golfing at RGCC.
